News aei-programmeAEI Sports Football Club will be producing matchday programmes for all home games in the form of electronically downloadable ‘eProgrammes’ for the 2016/2017 KCFL football season.

As part of the club’s efforts to keep reduce overheads, reduce wastage and reduce its own carbon footprint, AEI Sports Football Club will be adopting this new approach in the production and supply of ‘eProgrammes’. The eProgramme will follow the same structure as a normal paper-based matchday programme. However, the eProgramme will be produced and made available online only.

The eProgramme will be produced in a PDF file format and will be made freely available for download on matchdays, from the official AEI Sports website as well as AEI’s Twitter and Facebook pages.

AEI Social Media Officer, Matt Grant, said of the announcement:

This season, AEI Sports are delighted to announce that we will be trying a new approach to the distribution of essential matchday information at all our home matches. With the normal approach being a paper-based alternative programme, we feel that the traditional approach is too restrictive in our current environment. Through some ‘out of the box’ thinking, we have come up with a progressive and technology-embracing online alternative. We are delighted to announce all AEI Sports Football Club eProgrammes this season will be FREELY distributed.

Confirming the newly-devised setup for matchdays, Grant added:

Our eProgrammes will be as informative and as relevant as the traditional paper-based alternative. However, our eProgrammes will be made available on matchdays via download from our online streams, namely our official website, our twitter feed @aeisportsfc and our Facebook page

We feel that by offering a free online alternative matchday programme to players, official and supporters, not only can we continue to provide lots of relevant and interesting information to our readers, AEI Sports Football Club can hopefully be at the forefront of providing matchday information to everyone in new, exciting and cost-efficient ways

The first expected AEI Sports eProgramme is expected for distribution this coming Saturday 17th September with the scheduled hosting of Tonbridge Invicta FC at the Wested Meadow home ground.
